Our story

My earliest inspiration was , a beautiful and talented Dutch woman who was a dear family friend. She owned a premiere floral design studio in my hometown of Beaumont, Texas. I adored the time spent in her shop as her designs came to life —for the delightful fragrances, lush hues, and most of all, the smiles and tears her creations evoked.

A creative departure from my mainstream legal career arrived many years later in the perfect gift from my husband - floral design classes. Captivated by the glory of working within nature’s bounty, my passion was reignited.

Ms. Barbara’s inspiration and my instruction at Houston’s School of Flowers brought me full circle and into full bloom with the birth of The Vintage Vase in 2020.

We choose stems and design each arrangement with care. And we strive to bring joy to you in every vase.
